If your question isn’t here, ask it when you request early access and we’ll answer by email.
About Gitsink
Can I use Gitsink today?
Not yet. Gitsink, an Intersink product, opens first to early access. Request early access and we’ll email you when a place opens.
Who runs Gitsink?
Gitsink is part of Intersink, made by Svayam Incarnation Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.
Why another git host?
We wanted a home for code that is private by default, easy to back up and easy to leave, run by the same team as the rest of Intersink.
When will pull requests, reviews and issues arrive?
When Gitsink opens to everyone, after the early-access stages. Early access starts with private repositories, plain git, moving in, mirrors and backups.
Moving and leaving
Can I keep using my current host?
Yes. Gitsink will be able to keep your current host updated as a mirror, so you can move at your own pace.
Will my history come with me?
Yes. A move will copy the full history, every branch and every tag, and check that every commit matches. How moving will work.
What if I want to leave?
Git is portable. You’ll be able to clone or download everything at any time and take it anywhere.
Accounts and price
Do I need an Intersink account?
Yes. You’ll sign in to Gitsink with your Intersink account, which also holds your billing and your team’s access.
How much will it cost?
Prices aren’t set yet. When they are, Gitsink will be billed on your Intersink account, together with any other Intersink services you use.
Do I need Jebbra?
No. Gitsink works with any git tools. If you build with Intersink Jebbra, your projects will be saved to Gitsink as you work.
How is my data handled?
Under the Intersink privacy notice. Security and privacy explains how your code will be looked after.
Be among the first to keep your code on Gitsink.
Gitsink isn’t open yet. Tell us what you’d keep on it and we’ll email you when a place opens.
